SPECIES STUDIO is a future creative studio with the purpose of "cultivating the future of life." We begin by questioning the assumption that humans alone are the protagonists. Plants, animals, microorganisms, soil, stones, AI, data, robots. We regard all beings as subjects, and seek to restore the relationships between them. What concerns us is the fragility of a world optimized for only a single species. We aim to create a world in which countless species can live and thrive. And we will create and bring forth landscapes of the future that have not yet been named, engaging our bodies as if cultivating the soil itself. The future we wish to see is already in our hands. Openness, noise, chance, imperfection. We believe that the signs of life are found precisely in what cannot be controlled.
